Gon Freecss: A Boy and His Pet

Another Gon Freecss art (God, I'm having so much trouble spelling out his weird surname!). ♥

So I guess the only main character I'm missing is Leorio, right? I actually managed to draw a handsome Leorio last night when I was experiencing my unexplained artist's block (if ever such a thing existed), but he looked more like Hisoka so I scrapped the thing altogether and just continued with my Franklin art (to be uploaded tomorrow).

After putting so much effort on Killua Zoldyck's Waiting Game (see: [link] ), I felt emotionally drained (I've been depressed lately because of some conflicts within the family), so I opted for a quick and simple art (Or is it my laziness kicking up again?). Gon was supposed to look very, very young here, but I'm not sure if my drawing looks older than intended. Anyway, under normal circumstances, I'd say that I enjoyed drawing this (cause it's easy and this is a happy photo of Gon and Kon the foxbear, right?), but I just feel... neutral. God, I'm having these blues again, and hopefully I'd snap out of it soon. ><

PS. Since I started drawing backdrops in my previous art, I figured I should continue with it so the hazy background here was supposed to be the sea (?). My reference photo is as hazy as that, so I just drew it as I saw it, though my techniques might have been a little off. ><
